Now,to begin with the process to Root T-Mobile Galaxy S3 SGH-T999 , initially you need to download Odin software. Following is the ODIN download link. Odin Root T-Mobile Galaxy S3 SGH-T999
Next, we need to download the clockworkmod.tar to Root T-Mobile Galaxy S3 SGH-T999 Firmware . Following is the File to Root T-Mobile Galaxy S3 SGH-T999. Download it from the attached files in that thread.
Also we need to download Superuser.Following is the download link for it–> Superuser T-Mobile Galaxy S3. Download it from the attached files in that thread.After downloading transfer that superuser zip file into the sdcard.
Now you need to switch of your device Galaxy S3 SGH-T999 and then your device need to boot in the download mode. In order to do the same ,
do press the Volume down Key and OK button simultaneously and then press the Power Button too.Now, when you get the Warning message just press the Volume Down Key to enter the download mode.
Now with the Galaxy S III being in download mode, plug in your phone into the PC via USB cable and then open the ODIN tool (Downloaded from step 1).
Once the phone is connected , ID:COM section in the top left corner would become yellow thereby indicating that connection has been established with the device succesfully.
Now make sure that you tick on F.Reset Time and Auto Reboot Checkboxes
Now in the PDA tab in odin , upload the “clockworkmod.tar” file you had downloaded (from step 2).
